I am a first-year graduate student in Computer Science at the University of Iowa, I am enthusiastic about contributing to this lab with a technical focus. My primary role will involve image analysis, specifically tracking tongue movements and analyzing the resulting data. I will focus on deriving and interpreting key metrics from this data, such as calculating movement speed and range to deliver meaningful insights. In the future, I aim to build a career as a machine learning engineer, where I can create models with impactful, real-world applications.

I am a second-year graduate student in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Iowa. I am excited to be part of the Speech Sensorimotor Development Lab to expand my knowledge about assessments and interventions for speech sound disorders and to hone my lab managerial skills. My research interests include investigating changes in speech and language abilities in multilingual populations across the lifespan. Clinically, I am interested in working with multilingual populations and would like to work in a pediatric outpatient clinic or inpatient rehabilitation after I graduate.
